International Focus Press (IFP)
IFP, established in 1994, is a small press that publishes books that address critical issues and integrates traditional publishing with internet updates, which act as a "live addendum" for each text. Dan Korem's idea is to eliminate the need for frequent updated bound editions while providing readers with current information regarding each issue.
The first IFP book was Suburban Gangs-The Affluent Rebels by Dan Korem. It was not a self-publishing venture, but rather a test case to prove that Dan's concepts would work. Not afraid to break with convention, JFK: Breaking the News by Pulitzer Prize nominee Hugh Aynesworth, broke new ground for a book by a noted journalist. More books will follow in 2009.
